Now that we've sent the Thanksgiving frenzy to the back of the pantry for another year, I was wondering how it went.
Help us hone our coverage for next year. Did you use and love any of the recipes below? Did our tips turn out to be helpful -- or no help at all? (It's OK, I can take it.) I tried the dry-brined turkey on a 16-pounder, and it turned out great! It was an easy recipe, I didn't have to worry about pots of salt water sloshing around in the fridge, and the turkey was nice and moist. I was afraid it might be awfully salty, but it wasn't. I didn't have to use any salt in the gravy though, and was glad I tried it before automatically adding salt. I'm saving that recipe!

ReplyDeleteI made the Charleston Shrimp Spread on Thanksgiving. It was a huge hit, so much so that my husband asked me to make it again last Saturday night when we had folks over for dinner. Delicious.
