We've done this with Trader Joe's and Costco. Now that Whole Foods has finally opened in Charlotte, it's time to put our cooking heads together.
Do you have favorite products or things you always buy at Whole Foods? Looking around at online discussions about Whole Foods in other cities, I've found fans of Wise kosher chickens, Fran's chocolate sauce and Siggi's Icelandic yogurt in the ginger/orange flavor.
How about it, Whole Foods vets? What's always on your shopping list? And since no store is perfect, have you found things that don't live up to the price?

They are GREAT for breakfast! The cream-cheese biscuits are wonderful. And it's great to pair eggs (and the aforementioned biscuits) with healthier fare such as sauteed veggies...
Galeos salad dressing. It is made from a miso base, has minimal ingredients and is low-cal to boot. No one else in the area carries it. I'm happy I will no longer have to order it online!
I usually make my own, but it is super handy to have around. The original and Dijonaise flavors are my favorites.
The Cajun Sweet Potato strips are the main thing I look for when I go to the Whole Foods food bar or deli. Yummmmmmmmm
The best thing about Whole Foods is that one can buy a draft beer and drink it while shopping. Oh, yeah - their version of "two buck chuck" is better than Trader Joe's.
I like Whole Foods. The salad bar area seems a bit disorganized. I also think the salad bar and fruit bar at the nearby Harris Teeter has a better selection.
The one-bite cinnamon rolls...I am so happy to be able to get them in Charlotte now. OMG. Also, their take and bake casseroles are awesome for quick dinners.
I don't understand why they don't offer a senior citizen discount like Earthfare and Harris Teeter. Are we not in thier deomgraphic?
I don't understand why they don't offer a senior citizen discount. Aren't we in thier demographic?

No cell phone or wi-fi service on the sales floor, ;(
I am sure there is a reason for that....
Poor parking and pricey, the meat dept looked good but I don't like the aluminum touching the meat, the bakery was good.
Yeah, what's up with no cell phone service in the entire store? First store I've seen where you have to drop everything and go outside in the parking lot to make a call or send/receive text.
They have the most delicious fresh green figs.
Their hand dipped garden blue cheese spread is TO. DIE. FOR. fantastic softened and spooned on fresh figs!
